As part of my education into concept art for games I decided to practice some 3D character work using a character from Dishonored, Geoff Curnow. Using the original concept art as a base, I modeled, UV unwrapped, textured, and rigged this guy. I also experimented with some techniques to push the art direction with normal maps painted by hand, giving a heavy brushstroke impression in lighting.
For fun I implemented him into the game just to confirm he moves well!
This was a fun exercise in understanding the pipeline a bit more, just wanted to share!
